“Engineers for a Sustainable World is a nonprofit network made up of people passionate about technical sustainability from all across the world. We believe that engineers, and anyone who loves to solve problems, are key to solving today’s biggest sustainability challenges. ESW members work on everything from a self-contained living unit and design studio for mobile deployment in disaster relief areas, a prototype of an affordable solar-powered lamp for citizens of Haiti, and a hydroponic system for a local food pantry to produce low-cost food for the community.”
